چکیده
This study investigated the effect of adding bioactive glass 45S5 (BG) different particle sizes to dental composite on resin polymerization and shrinkage stress formation. Commercial flowable was mixed with either 15 wt% BG fillers (nanometric, micrometric, or hybrid BG) inert barium glass. Real-time linear were recorded, degree conversion measured using FTIR spectroscopy. The commercial (unmodified) developed significantly higher than groups added fillers. After glass, showed when micrometric added. addition did not affect conversion. Shrinkage can be reduced by (nano- and/or microparticulate without affecting monomer

Photoelastic determination of polymerization shrinkage stress in low-shrinkage resin composites.
Low-shrinkage resin composites are in the focus of research in posterior resin composite restoratives. The aim of the study was to examine the polymerization shrinkage stress of new composites (Venus Diamond/ Heraeus Kulzer; SDR/DENTSPLY) and an experimental low-shrinkage resin composite (Ormocer/VOCO) in comparison to established low-shrinkage resin composites (Filtek Silorane/ 3M ESPE; els/Sa...

15 صفحه اولFactors involved in the development of polymerization shrinkage stress in resin-composites: a systematic review.
OBJECTIVES Polymerization shrinkage stress of resin-composite materials may have a negative impact on the clinical performance of bonded restorations. The purpose of this systematic review is to discuss the primary factors involved with polymerization shrinkage stress development. DATA According to the current literature, polymerization stress of resin composites is determined by their volume...

This study evaluated the polymerization shrinkage, flexural and compressive properties of low-shrinkage resin composites. For the study, four methacrylate-based and one silorane-based resin composites were light cured using three different light-curing units (LCUs) and their polymerization shrinkage, flexural (strength (FS) and modulus (FM)) and compressive (strength (CS) and modulus (CM)) prop...
متن کاملPolymerization shrinkage stress of composites photoactivated by different light sources.
The purpose of this study was to compare the polymerization shrinkage stress of composite resins (microfilled, microhybrid and hybrid) photoactivated by quartz-tungsten halogen light (QTH) and light-emitting diode (LED). Glass rods (5.0 mm x 5.0 cm) were fabricated and had one of the surfaces air-abraded with aluminum oxide and coated with a layer of an adhesive system, which was photoactivated...
